Orlando Beginner Classic, Hybrid, Volume Eyelash Extension, Lash Lift, and Lash Educator Training and Certification by GetLashED Orlando

How to Become a Lash Artist in Florida

If you are reading this blog I assume it’s because you are searching for a course and you’re probably very overwhelmed and/or confused.

Before we explain our program, here’s 7 tips to help you choose the right lash educator or training provider:

  • Don’t pick a course based on price. Pick a course based on what will benefit you the most. For instance, will it benefit you to have a training kit? Will it benefit you to have support after training? Will it benefit you to attend a one-day training?
  • Don’t take a 1 or 2 -day course as a beginner. It will be a waste of your time and money.
  • Don’t take a beginner course that offers certifications in classic, hybrid, and volume. An overview is ok but learning various methods may lead to confusion. Give yourself time to perfect one style before learning another.
  • Don’t choose a 100% online course as a beginner if you are not disciplined and willing to put in the work.
  • Do inquire about ongoing support because you’re going to need it
  • Do inquire about certification requirements – are they earned or included in the course fee?
  • Do inquire about the Educator’s years of experience

Our 8 Week Beginner Lash Course is a mentorship style training program designed for licensed estheticians, licensed cosmetologists or students enrolled in an esthetics or cosmetology program, who have never done lashes before, those who have basic lash skills, or those who took a one-day "crash course" and need a refresher. Over 13 non-consecutive days you'll learn Classic, Hybrid, Lash Lift, Brow Lamination and Brow Extension services.

Not Licensed? Don't worry. Our Licensed 2 Lash Program is a 3-to-4 month program that includes training to become a Facial Specialist in the state of Florida along with our 8 Week Beginner Lash Training Program, giving you nearly 280 hours of training! We're the first and only lash and brow training company in Central Florida that offers this unique program.

As you can see, our programs are not the typical cheap 1-day training course where you practice on a model for 3 hours and are issued a certificate. In fact, our program is the exact opposite, incorporating many hours of hands-on, supervised, model practice and providing in-depth theory learning you won’t find anywhere else.

Under the guidance of our highly experienced Lash Educators, you will gain the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to perform eyelash extension services safely. You'll also learn good lashing habits and business skills to grow your business. Plus, we have a 1:1 trainer to student ratio to maximize your learning experience.

Our commitment to your success doesn't end with the course the course completion certificate. A one-on-one refresher is included within 3-6 months after  your last sessions and we're available by phone, email, or text/chat to help you.

If you’re serious about becoming a Lash Artist and you’re willing to invest your time and money to learn and be mentored, then our program is for you!
